Some aspects of our implementation of the Gadget Server are different from the implementations you might see elsewhere, for example on Orkut. We have listed some of the more common issues that developers and encourage developers to enter new issues as they come across them.

1. We don't support all of the Friend profile fields listed in the OpenSocial specification. More details are available on the FAQ page.
2. The Person.getID call returns the hi5 user ID, not an OpenSocial user ID that is different from the user ID on our site. Orkut, for example, implements a different OpenSocial ID for their users. (hat tip to Alex Epshteyn for noting this on our discussion forum.)
3. hi5 has added support for accessing user photos and photo albums. Please see this hi5 Photos API help page for more details.
