Statistics API Available on Sandbox

The Statistics API that we announced two weeks ago is available on sandbox. Please use the endpoints described in the earlier post, prefixed with http://sandbox.hi5.com/rest. For example, for the metrics/daily endpoint, you would enter http://sandbox.hi5.com/rest/metrics/daily?<parameters>.

We look forward to seeing the API being used. Feel free to send us feedback -- we will also propose this shortly as an addition to the OpenSocial REST API specification which will present the community with an additional forum to discuss the API.

The sandbox REST API is timing out constantly with a 'woops' message, and has been for 24 hours now.

We are looking into this. Status updates will be posted to our twitter feed (http://www.twitter.com/hi5status).

Sameer.

which is the enter ponit of the new V8 rest api,
sandbox.hi5.com or betasandbox.com?

Why the Discovery failed on both sites? It just returend a html document.

The API server running the new OpenSocial 0.8 is sandbox.hi5.com, and if you have an application running on betasandbox.hi5.com, it will point to that API server. I hope that answers your question.
