
hi5's Executive Producer, Andrew Sheppard, joined a panel of other leading experts to discuss game monetization at the
New York Games Conference
in Manhattan today. The session covered a range of in-game
monetization topics, including micro transactions, virtual goods, and
virtual currencies. hi5 has been a leader in this category, with the
launch of a global virtual currency, hi5 Coins, in December 2008, and
extending today to a wide variety of freemium content with in-game
transactions.
